Pixie Cut Crazy

My current crush over the pixie cut has me questioning the long lock look...

Ever since I can remember I have been in love with long luscious looking hair. This fixation probably stemmed from watching Disney movies as a youngster...lets face it....every Disney princess has a long, tumbling golden mane. Recently however, it seems that there is a new hair style that is really popular. The pixie cut. This is a hairstyle reserved strictly for the bold, edgy, trendsetters out there. It is not every day that barbie girls are going to pop by their local salon and request their identities be chopped of their heads....

Speaking of identities...ones hair is ones identity.  A girl's hair is one of the main ways others recognize her. Not to mention it is an outlet for creativity! You can do just about EVERY THING with your hair: dye it, cut it, put it in clips, a hairband, a pony tail, braids, 10 pig tails, heck, you could shave your hair all off. Never the less hair is one of those things many, many people are hugely protective of.

So with this obsession that people have with their hair it is no wonder hair trends are changing faster than you can say "hair trends", but there is one style of the moment that has been sticking as of late. The pixie cut is one of the most fabulous hair styles out there. Right now there are a lot of celebrities who are taking the pixie plunge. Take a look....

    The pixie cut is not really me. I have long, curly hair and I think it suits me better, but the pixie cut looks good on some people.
