Carven Fall 2011 Ready-To-Wear Show

Guillaume Henry, the designer of Carven, knows that French fashion must have a certain unique flare. Sometimes that flare may be colorful and extravagant and sometimes that flare may be subtlety chic. Carven's Fall 2011 ready-to-wear show may have opted for #2, but regardless the collection was unique.While this budding fashion house was launched only 2 years ago it is making serious impressions on some of fashions most influential people. 






The label is all about bourgeois, true francophile style. Ladies look proper and prim in Carven without looking dowdy or old fashioned. Guillaume Henry's muses for this particular collection were Lee Miller and Simone de Beauvoir. Mission accomplished! The collection was simplistically basic....think: Chanel and the classic little black dress.

MTV VMA's Style Scoop

Who was the best dressed at the VMA's and who was, eh, let's just say looking not so hot!? Read on to get Flaunt It's style scoop...

Selena Gomez opted for a lacey black dress with a hi-low hem line. Some parts of the dress were chic!

Wow.....NO! Miley's dresses printed pattern and long sleeves are not flattering. This dress is not a good pick.

Demi's MTV VMA dress was sparkly and silver. The dress suits her style and body type, but it is a little un-extraordinary!

Victoria Justice's glittery silver dress was glam and chic. It looks like her and Demi were thinking alike when they were picking their outfits....but, I like V's dress!

Vanessa's hair looks like it came from the 1920's and her basic silver gown is uninspiring. Vanessa looks okay.

Artist Dante Tyler's collection of Disney Princess Vogue covers is gaining the attention of fashioninsta's and Disney girls alike! Featuring Belle from Beauty & The Beast, Pocahontas from Pocahontas, Jasmine from Aladin, Aurora from The Sleeping Beauty, Tiana from The Princess And The Frog, Snow White from Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Cinderella from Cinderella. The covers are visually stunning and the classic Disney Princesses are looking tres chic!

I'm thinking Vogue should feature these fabulous cover girls in an up coming issue, but they all look so stylish which one would they choose?
